My name is Richard van Alphen (aka Ries).
You might know me from the YouTube program “Mensenmening”. My passion lies within the media, where I would most likely want to expand my career in. SLAM! offers me the opportunity to participate in programs such as Mensenmening, Statements and more. Since I was young I have always been around media and music and I think that is where my passion for this had started.
I am currently working on my own series, From Sexpig To Sixpack. In this series the viewer follows my journey to a six-pack in a weekly video on YouTube.
Future plans
My dream is to make my own program and making my hobby for presenting my work. My tip for young people who also want to make a career in the media is: keep on living the life of your dreams and you will eventually reach where you want to be.
The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown a spanner in the works for my media plans, but I am convinced that despite this temporary situation, I will eventually achieve my goal.
